The Fiber Arts Club of the West Medford Community Center is having a raffle fundraiser! All proceeds benefit and support WMCC. The item being raffled is a hand-crafted Afghan assembled by the club members using knitted, crocheted and sewing techniques.
The Afghan was created and designed to commemorate “Juneteenth” and captures a mix of colors – red, green, and black. The rich textured black and white panels are embellished with meticulously placed wooden beads along with a knitted cord that depicts the outline of the African continent.
This one-of-a-kind unique Afghan measures 70” x 120”. Tickets can be purchased at WMCC prior to drawing on Saturday, November 23, 2024 @ 3 PM. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at WMCC by cash or check. (Checks made payable to WMCC).
